"Friends of Rotecastello" Society, established in 1995, pursues valorisation of the village and territory of Rotecastello, through membership and patronage from selected local, regional and national sponsors.

Among the society's various activities, the most renowned is the medieval festival which takes place in the month of August in the unique and evocative setting of the village. The highlight of the festival is the medieval procession featuring the marvellous costumes hand crafted by the villagers, and the ancient music played in the village main square.
